This 8-hour course is the perfect first step into the aesthetic world, as it covers the basics of neuromodulator treatments with lectures, hands-on training, and a cocktail hour with local pharmaceutical reps.

What will you learn?
The art of an aesthetic assessment and developing an anti-aging plan for your patient
Hands-on photography skills session- lighting, positioning, animation, and capturing
Identify FDA-approved neuromodulator products and explain mechanism and duration of action
Discuss storage, reconstitution, devices for injection, and common uses of each neuromodulator product
Identify the anatomy of facial muscles appropriate for treatment of various cosmetic indications with a neuromodulator
Discuss supplies used to prep and treat with neuromodulator product
Explain the contraindications, precautions, and post-care instructions associated with a neuromodulator treatment
Explain proper management of complications associated with use of a neuromodulator
Hands-on injecting of neuromodulator products

Our Novice Botox Basics Course is a full-day course dedicated to ensuring you leave feeling confident about integrating neuromodulators into your practice. You will not only experience lectures and demonstrations, but you will also get your hands on a needle and inject your own patient. We will take you and your patient through the steps of a quality assessment, photography session for before and after photos/videos, offer a personalized anti-aging protocol, neuromodulator injections, and schedule their two-week follow-up appointment. You will also have a cocktail hour with local pharmaceutical reps in the aesthetic industry. This is your time to network- what are your future goals in aesthetics?
